How to best use this in a multi (publisher/consumer) farm architecture

Hello, can this hub exist in a publishing farm or should it reside in a consumer farm. We are currently publishing Profile, MetaData and Secure Store services to consumer farms.

This has not been a tested scenario for us since we have only one farm.

The library hosting the documents uses default windows security, so user-wise it should not be a problem for you, just add the desired user groups.

Your main consern might be when querying the library from one farm to another (getting the list of files, metadata etc in the template browser). You might have to add your "client" application pool account  (the app pool that runs the site where you start the template browser) as a reader to the content database that holds the site with the templates located in them to get your scenario to work without security issues.

If you have the means to test it in an isolated environment and report back problems/solutions, that would be appreciated :)
